Which of these factors are the control, independent, or dependent variable?

The experiment goes as...

2 balloons are attached to two different bottles one bottle is dipped in hot water which causes the balloon to inflate while the other is dipped in cold water which causes the balloon to shrink.Which of these factors are the control, independent, or dependent variable?
Independent variables are what you change.

Dependent variables are what you measure.

Control variables are what you keep the same.

The independent variable here is the temperature of the water that you dip the balloons in.

The dependent variable (I assume) is the final volume of the balloon.

The control variables will be things like the type and volume of gas in the balloons, the size and shape of the uninflated balloon, the material the balloons are made from and anything else which has to be constant.Which of these factors are the control, independent, or dependent variable?
independent variable is temperature of air in bottle and balloon (hot and cold), since the hot water will heat up the air and vice versa

dependent variable is the movement of balloon (inflate or shrink)

there is no control, unless there is a bottle with a balloon attached and the bottle is placed in room temperature and not in any kind of water bath.
