I'm doing 7th grade science fair and need help!! My science fair is to find out which eyeliner is the most waterproof? ex. Maybelline, L'Oreal or Sephora?
I want to find out what the control variable is for my science fair question. and if you could please explain really short what a control variable is because i kinda understand it, but not really :/

Here's a good explanation of it. control variables are things that could vary, but you keep them under control...the ideal experiment has lots of control variables , one independent var., and one dependent var. Keep everything the same, change one thing, and observe changes in one other thing. The clever scientist will look ahead and 'guess' what things might change, and control them.
