The first one about controlling variables of interest is ';D'; - observational studies. In Observational Studies you have researchers sit and (imagine this!) ';observe'; what the subject of the experiment does and takes notes. They don't control anything! At the end, they write it all up in a long report. They don't manipulate anything.





As for the second one, I'm sure it's not ';D.'; I've never heard of that before! I've never heard of ';B'; either. ';Cross - sectional'; is the way I think of ';C'; - split apart like that. You are looking ';across a section of data in time.'; That's just the way I memorized it. So I'm leaning towards ';C.';
