In biology when doing a lab is the control the substance that always stays the same and variable is the substance that changes?Biology- control/variable help?
That is pretty much correct. For example, if you are studying the effect of a drug on metabolism, the experimental cells receive the drug dissolved in something (like water), and the control cells receive just the solvent without the drug.
