We did a Lab and put potatoes like cubes in a batch of tap water and one in a batch of salt water; for osmosis I need to know the independent variables, control variables and the Dependent variables. The independent variable is aspect of the experiment that you are changing. In this case, you are changing the type of liquid the potato is immersed in. Your control variable is the normal water, and the experimental variable is salt water.
